I spent the morning at the alpaca farm, trying my hand a plein air. Even though my painting didn't turn out, I had a wonderful time - it was so beautiful outside. I'll just keep painting until I get it right!
Thanks, Sandy - I confess, I wiped the painting after I photographed it. I now have a reason to go back to the alpaca farm! It's a beautiful spot in the country, just outside the Eugene city limits. While there, I saw the most amazing thing...there were hundreds of Canada geese (no exaggeration) hanging out near the pond. When they took flight it sounded like a wave crashing on the shore. Breathtaking!

Haha! Sue, I know just how you feel. I'm rather new to plein air, too but your little piece turned out beautifully! I am anxious to see more :)
