Jenny

I haven't posted for awhile. I've been working on this portrait of my daughter, Jenny. It was slow-going, but I enjoyed working on it. I like painting people, and would like to try my hand at more portraits. I just need to find willing victims (I mean, subjects)!

This is great! I love the light and warmth that you've captured. I hope you find more 'victims', - this portrait is beautiful. :)

Thanks so much, Nora! This was a big of a challenge. Jenny was standing by a river, so the light was bouncing all over the place. I really fretted over the skin tone. It was fun, though - I'm on the lookout for more faces to paint!

You're very good portraitist, Susan. You paint personality not just face.
