These small paintings are just for fun. It's back to doing more color studies this weekend. We've had two dripping, sopping wet days, but the forecast is for sun tomorrow. If it's warm enough, I may even venture out to try some plein air.

Thanks,George. I had to keep working on this. I'm beginning to understand that most my paintings require several passes before I'm finished with them.
Me too... I can only go so far with the ala prima approach, then it gets richer as the layers start to build. The hard part for me is deciding when to stop... :)
