September Challenge #8

Today is the first day of week #2 in Leslie Saeta's 30 day challenge. So far, so good. Painting in the evening after work wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be, although I confess, there are some little jobs around the house that didn't get done.

I'm continuing to use the fracturing technique that was created by Julie Ford Oliver. I find this style to be quite liberating. I still have a lot to learn, but I think it's an enjoyable way to paint.

Lovely painting, Sue. Love the close colors...then that pop of green in the olive oil! Found you on the 30 Day Challenge, have fun.

Thank you, Joanie! Unfortunately, I have some repair work to do on this painting. After I posted it, I noticed that the cap on the olive oil is leaning. I should have used a mirror to view this before taking of photo.

the colors glow in this. Your glass is wonderful and doesn't the color pop next to the background!

Thank you, Julie. With this one, I was still a bit timid with the fracturing - with time, I'm getting bolder!
